Campbell River is easy to reach, by airplane (commercial and private flights and floatplanes) by boat and by car.
By vehicle:
Vehicles access Vancouver Island using BC Ferries. It is recommended that you make a reservation on BC Ferries on weekends during the summer months and on long weekends/holidays.
Once on Vancouver Island you can drive to Campbell River on the Inland Island Hwy 19 (approx. 90 mins) or via the scenic oceanside route of the Old Island Hwy 19A (approx. 120 mins).
